Intern, from January 2019 to April 2019

Shraiya did her internship after completing a degree in Political Science from LSR in her home country India. In Kenya, she worked as a Quality Assurance and Data Manager for 12 weeks in Siaya and Busia. One of Shraiya’s favourite tasks was to draft a strategy on encouraging savings activity to overcome the loan burdens of Momentum’s farmers. This was a challenging task that Shraiya carried out by involving the farmers.

“I wanted to do this internship as I wished to contribute my skillset towards engendering farming activity as self sufficient and gainful employment, while also seeking to learning from village societies: the values of how to live with nature and foster a sustainable way of life.”
