Philip became engaged with Momentum in 2017 and is responsible for mobilizing new farmers in the county of Homa Bay. Here Philip promotes organic chia farming among local farmers to mobilize and train them to produce and sell chia to Momentum. Philip comes from the area, where he runs his own small farm and a shop together with his wife.

“I’m passionate about promoting nutritious foods and organic farming, since there are many problems with farmers not growing nutritious crops. Seeing Momentum’s work with nutritious foods (e.g. chia) and organic farming, I became very excited.”
