Lea Langeland

Former intern, January to April 2014

Lea did her internship as part of her Master’s in Social Sciences in Development and International Relations. One of the tasks that Lea especially enjoyed as an intern was to plan and execute the expansion of Momentum’s programme to new areas and villages. In this process, Lea was part of establishing good relations with villagers and organizing public information meetings. This meant that Lea met many different people and felt the excitement when new farmers joined Momentum’s projects. Since her internship, Lea has worked as an Evaluation Consultant at the Danish Refugee Council and she is currently a Language Consultant at A2B.

As an intern at Momentum Trust, I was given a lot of freedom to plan and shape many tasks myself. I believe this has helped me to ”trust my gut” and make independent decisions.”
